Outside Sales Representative (ConstructionHome Remodeling) Company: Odyssey Contracting Location: Garner, NC (Local travel to customer homes) Job Type: Full-time W-2 Compensation: Base salary + uncapped commission (commissions paid weekly) About the Role Odyssey Contracting is growing and looking for a proven Outside Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment. You'll run company-provided, qualified appointments with homeowners, scope projects, build trust, and close deals in exterior and interior remodeling (decks, additions, sunrooms, siding, roofing, windows/doors, etc.). What You'll Do * Run in-home consultations from company-provided leads; perform needs assessments and basic measurements. * Educate homeowners on products, design options, and construction methods; build value and urgency. * Create proposals, present pricing/financing, negotiate, and close. * Manage your pipeline, follow up relentlessly, and hit weekly/monthly targets. * Document every interaction in the CRM and coordinate clean handoffs to production. * Represent Odyssey with professionalism at all times (evenings/weekends common). What We're Looking For (Skills) * Persuasionnegotiation grounded in integrity and value-based selling. * Active listening and consultative discovery. * Product knowledge in construction/home remodeling (materials, methods, timelines). * Comfortable using CRM tools (experience with systems like AccuLynx a plus). Minimum Requirements * 3+ years of outside sales success (home improvement, construction, or related industry preferred). * Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and confidence driving to appointments. * Ability to climb stairs/ladders and perform basic onsite measurements. * Comfort presenting pricing and securing signatures on the spot. ScheduleTerritory * Full-time; afternoons/evenings and weekends as required by homeowner availability. * Local territory within define service area.
