Sales Estimator Mid-South Machine is hiring a Sales Estimator to plays a key role in our quoting and sales process, from reviewing RFQs to building accurate cost estimates. This is a great opportunity for someone with machining and fabrication experience who enjoys applying their knowledge to help customers. Responsibilities * Review and qualify incoming RFQs to ensure alignment with company capabilities. * Prepare accurate cost estimates by: * Determining required materials and securing vendor pricing. * Identifying machining and fabrication processes required to meet print specifications. * Calculate setup and run times across multiple work centers. * Coordinate with outside process vendors for quotes and lead times. * Collaborate with Production Manager and Department Managers to ensure quotes are competitive, accurate, and achievable. * Communicate with customers to clarify technical details, timelines, and requirements. * Track and follow up on quotes to support business growth. Qualifications * Hands-on experience as a CNC machinist and/or fabricator. * Strong understanding of machining and fabrication processes. * Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, email, and file management. * Strong organization skills to manage multiple RFQs, quotes, and technical details. * Excellent communication skills with both customers and internal teams. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Machine Shop ERP (JobBOSS or Similar) * Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam or similar) * Prior estimating and/or inside sales experience in manufacturing.
