PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday delivery days; early morning shift * Operation of step-van * Follow all company safety policies and procedures * Accurate completion of paperwork * Timely and accurate delivery to all route customers * Manage and maintain the sales and service of Foodservice Customers within established route * Work with customers on forecasting and planning of any upcoming events, holidays, etc. * Continue to work with and grow account sales with suggested product upselling opportunities OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist other departments as needed. * Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently * Ability to enter/exit vehicle QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: * Education: * High school diploma or GED required. * Experience: * Valid chauffeur's license * (6) months route delivery experience preferred * Previous sales experience preferred * Clean driver history * Must be 21 years of age About us : Alpha Baking Company, Inc., a national distributor of breads, rolls and buns, as well as sweet goods, was founded in 1979.
