Rental Sales Agent (Front Counter - Sales Focused) Routes Car Rental - Orlando, FL Pay & Earnings * $14.00 per hour * PLUS 8% - 12% flat commission on sales * Uncapped earning potential - top performers earn significantly more * Shift Hours - Preferably 5 pm to 2 am (or other evening/closing shift) About the Role Routes Car Rental is hiring motivated, sales-driven Rental Sales Agents for our Orlando location. This is a front-counter sales role , ideal for individuals who thrive in a goal-oriented environment and enjoy earning commission based on performance. Success in this position comes from confidently presenting rental options, recommending upgrades, and maximizing each customer interaction -- all while delivering excellent customer service. Sales-Focused Responsibilities * Actively sell and promote rental upgrades, protection packages, and add-on services * Identify customer needs and convert opportunities into sales * Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and commission targets * Explain the value and benefits of products in a clear, persuasive manner * Maintain strong closing techniques while ensuring customer satisfaction * Track performance metrics and contribute to branch sales goals Additional Responsibilities * Greet customers and provide a smooth rental experience * Prepare rental agreements and process payments accurately * Handle reservations, phone calls, and customer inquiries * Maintain professional communication and brand standards * Assist with vehicle returns and counter operations as needed What We 're Looking For * Sales-oriented mindset with confidence in upselling and closing * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Comfortable working with performance goals and commission structures * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Basic computer skills * Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays) Previous sales or car rental experience is a must.
