Responsibility as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships Reports to Senior Vice President Global Alliances, the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will serve as an integral part of the Global Alliance team responsible for identifying strategic partners and developing and executing go-to-market programs to generate revenue, enrich Red Book Connect market standing. Requirements You are: Motivated, partner oriented, ready and able to use your resourceful skills to develop lasting relationships with both business partners and internal product support teams; you can deliver and achieve results in a fast paced, energetic and ever-changing environment. You must have a solid understanding of what is required to develop, nurture and manage successful business partnerships and understand that follow-up and follow- through are an everyday must. Desired Skills and Experience: * Proven track record in sales and business development both direct and through partners. * Demonstrated experience working within teams to drive revenue through partnerships in a software company. * Ability to qualify, recruit and manage new strategic markets. * Ability to manage the entire life cycle of our business partnerships, from strategy to implementation. * Develop and maintain solid relationships with partners, resulting in long term and profitable partnerships. * Facilitate partners' training sessions to encourage and motivate channel partners to promote our solution. * Provide subject matter expertise to partners to support their marketing and sales efforts. * Strong business and professional acumen with an ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization. * Act as a liaison between partners and our teams. * Strong communication skills (both written and oral) to keep partner and internal teams updated on activities. * Solve problems & produce solutions by gathering and evaluating given data to identify alternatives when circumstances change. * Ability and experience negotiating contracts and agreements. * Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales and/or business objectives. Experience with the following is a plus: * Cloud software experience * Experience working in a global technology company. * Sales and Business development experience. * Retail and Hospitality industry experience. * Good business acumen, experience with contracts and pricing. * Working knowledge of sales and prospecting methodologies. Qualifications: * 10+ years of software sales experience and/or partner management experience. * Proven track record of meeting sales and business objectives. * Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written. * Ability to work with little or no supervision. * Highly motivated, self-driven, conscientious individual who is detailed and organized. * Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
