This is for two small properties in Mesa, AZ. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management. This role requires excellent customer service abilities, as well as a solid grasp of leasing practices and fair housing regulations. The Apartment Manager will be responsible for maintaining the property's standards, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing administrative tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: * Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Responsible for all of the day to day operations * Knowledge in fair housing and landlord-tenant laws * Marketing * Leasing * Preparing lease paperwork * Processing move-ins and move-outs * Accounts receivable * Maintaining accurate and complete records in files and in property management software * Responsible for maximizing the property's operating income * Hiring, leading and managing a team * Expense control and revenue enhancement * Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reporting * Manages resident issues and renewal terms * Managing maintenance repairs and vacant turn schedule (renovation program) * Develops, plans and implements resident retention strategies * Ensures excellent customer service to prospective and current residents * Promotes a quality living experience for all residents * Knowledge in fair housing and landlord-tenant laws is required Skills & Knowledge: * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills * Professional verbal and written communication skills * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Ability to make quick and effective decisions * Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues * Skill and ability to manage a team and successfully delegate * Ability to conduct interviews * Ability to train * Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes * Ability to set, manage and meet goals and deadlines. * Ability to close a sale * Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality * Ability to use a computer proficiently, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher and accounting software * Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, scanner, fax machine, printer, and copier Job Type: Full-time Base Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
