Starting at $15 + Tips - Room to Grow We are a family-owned smoke shop located on the north side of Indianapolis, committed to delivering exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a friendly, customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. Key Responsibilities: - Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers, answering their questions, and ensuring they have a positive experience. - Remain up to date with latest products and industry trends to educate customers. - Maintain the shop's daily upkeep, including restocking items, rotating inventory, and conducting inventory counts as needed. - Take initiative in day-to-day tasks, and stay informed about product offerings through research and direction from the Owner. - Greet and acknowledge every customer warmly and promptly, ensuring a courteous experience. - Perform tasks assigned by the Owner, including preparing daily cash reports and managing cash transactions accurately. - Keep the store clean, organized, and safe at all times. - Address customer concerns or complaints professionally, offering guidance and solutions. - Assist with inventory stocking and ensure products are displayed correctly. Preferred Qualifications: - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Prior experience in retail or as a cashier is preferred. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers effectively. - Ability to take initiative, follow directions, and maintain a passion for learning about our products. - Sales-driven with a genuine enjoyment of customer interaction. - Experience with POS systems, particularly Clover, is a plus. - Trustworthy, reliable, and well-organized with a creative approach to problem-solving. - Knowledge of vape and smoke shop products is required.
