Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven 1099 Roofing Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of independent contracting with the support of an established roofing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting roof inspections, managing sales projects, maintaining client relationships, and overseeing project documentation and payments. Key Responsibilities: * Lead Generation & Prospecting: * Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities through door knocking, networking, referrals, and community engagement. * Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and follow up regularly to generate new business * Roof Inspections & Assessments: * Conduct thorough roof inspections to assess damage or wear, providing clients with detailed evaluations. * Utilize tools such as drones and tablets to document findings and communicate effectively with clients. * Sales & Project Management: * Prepare and present accurate estimates for roofing projects, including materials, labor, and timelines. * Negotiate contract terms, secure signed agreements, and manage the project from initiation to completion. * Coordinate with roofing crews and ensure timely and quality execution of projects. * Client Relations & Communication: * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle. * Provide exceptional customer service to build and maintain long-term relationships * Documentation & Payment Collection: * Organize and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, estimates, and correspondence. * Collect payments and manage financial transactions in accordance with company policies. Qualifications: * Proven experience in sales, preferably in roofing or home improvement industries. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Comfortable with climbing ladders and walking on roofs. * Proficiency in using technology, including smartphones, tablets, and CRM software. * Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with roof inspections Compensation & Benefits: * Commission-based earnings with uncapped potential. * Flexible schedule and the autonomy of a 1099 independent contractor role. * Comprehensive training and ongoing support from the company. * Opportunity to earn $80,000-$120,000+ annually, depending on performance and effort.
