The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and supporting revenue growth for our electrical contracting services. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and works closely with estimating, project management, and operations teams to ensure accurate proposals and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development * Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial, industrial, and/or residential client accounts * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, site visits, and industry events * Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets * Track leads, opportunities, and customer activity in the CRM system Client Relationship Management * Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers before, during, and after project completion * Build long-term relationships with general contractors, property managers, developers, and facility managers * Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate electrical solutions * Resolve customer concerns in coordination with internal teams Estimating & Proposal Support * Collaborate with estimators and project managers to develop accurate bids and proposals * Review scopes of work, drawings, and specifications with internal teams * Present proposals, negotiate pricing, and close contracts Project Coordination * Support smooth handoff from sales to operations once projects are awarded * Stay informed on project progress and communicate updates to clients as needed * Assist with change orders, upselling, and additional service opportunities Market & Industry Awareness * Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback * Represent the company professionally in the community and industry associations Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $58,658.75 - $70,642.80 per year Work Location: In person
