Job Title : Full-Time Service Associate Location : San Mateo, CA Overview: Do you have a positive, friendly attitude and enjoy helping others? If so, we'd love to meet you! We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual to join our team at our premier self-storage facility in San Mateo, CA. We are currently hiring a Full-Time (30 hrs/week) Service Associate who can deliver excellent customer service, assist new customers in selecting the right storage unit, and support the property with essential maintenance and janitorial tasks. This role requires accurately using our computer-based rental system, confidently executing our sales script (full training provided to ensure your success), and the ability to work effectively both in the office and outdoors on the property, combining hands-on tasks with customer- facing responsibilities. Schedule Requirements: - Must be available to work the full Saturday shift. Mandatory Saturday. Regular Schedule: - Mondays: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM - Tuesdays: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM - Fridays: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM - Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM - All shifts include a 30-minute unpaid lunch Please note: The work schedule may be adjusted based on the facility 's operational needs. Essential Duties: - Confidently follow and execute the company's sales process when assisting new and prospective customers and enjoy the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses. - Use our computer-based rental software to complete storage unit rentals, process payments, and update customer information - Promote and maintain strong customer relationships by providing accurate, helpful information about our facility and services - Ensure a positive customer experience by delivering friendly, responsive, and high-quality service - Maintain a clean, well-kept facility by ensuring the property, storage units, and grounds are regularly cleaned and cared for - Perform minor repairs as needed and complete routine lock checks to ensure unit security - Assist tenants during the move-in process, helping create a smooth and welcoming experience.
