Role Overview As a Business Development Specialist, you will take ownership of identifying and driving new business opportunities. Your role will encompass multifaceted outreach, scoping potential engagements, structuring deals, and successfully closing agreements. This position offers you the opportunity to work with diverse industries and play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and impact. Key Responsibilities * Identify and engage prospective clients through creative and strategic outreach efforts. * Evaluate client needs and scope potential projects to align with Machado Consulting's strengths. * Structure deals and create value-driven proposals tailored to client requirements. * Negotiate terms and successfully close agreements to meet or exceed growth targets. * Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term collaboration and satisfaction. * Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. * Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions and ensure client success. Qualifications * Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the IT or consulting industry. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels. * Exceptional negotiation and deal-closing abilities. * Analytical mindset with the ability to assess client needs and craft tailored solutions. * Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. * Familiarity with IT consulting services is a plus.
