Job Overview As a Sales Representative at Bill's Tractor, you will be responsible for selling new and used tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, and related equipment. You will build and maintain relationships with residential, commercial, and agricultural customers, providing expert advice to help them find the perfect equipment for their needs. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic communicator with a strong understanding of agricultural and lawn care machinery. Duties * Engage with customers to understand their equipment needs, offering expert advice on tractor and machinery options that best suit their projects. * Actively promote and demonstrate equipment features, benefits, and applications to inspire confidence and facilitate purchasing decisions. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively seeking new business opportunities through outreach and networking. * Process sales transactions accurately, including quotations, orders, and financing options when applicable. * Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely delivery, setup, and training on new equipment. * Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions to ensure seamless communication. * Stay informed about the latest industry trends, product updates, and competitive offerings to provide knowledgeable guidance. * Assist in organizing promotional events or demonstrations to showcase equipment capabilities to potential buyers. Skills * Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to assist clients and address their needs effectively. * Proven sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a competitive environment. * Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical features and benefits of machinery. * Ability to build rapport quickly, fostering trust and long-term relationships with customers. * Knowledge of agricultural or construction equipment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. * Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and closing sales. * Organizational skills for managing multiple client accounts and follow-up tasks efficiently.
