Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will engage with customers, demonstrate products, and assist in maintaining the store's visual standards. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits. * Utilize retail math to assist customers with pricing inquiries and transactions. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas. * Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and store objectives. * Stay informed about product knowledge to effectively assist customers. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette for customer interactions. * Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately. * Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus but not required. * A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. * Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members alike.
