Description: Blake & Pendleton (B&P) is the largest Sullair Distributor in the Southeast. B&P offers highly unique services aimed at increasing energy efficiency and improving compressed air usage in customer's plants and facilities. We are seeking a motivated, driven Entry-Level Outside Sales Associate to support our sales efforts in the compressed air industry. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in industrial sales by learning technical products, developing customer relationships, and growing a defined sales territory. Training and mentorship will be provided. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within assigned territory * Prospect for new business through cold calls, referrals, jobsite visits, and networking * Learn and sell compressed air equipment, parts, service, and solutions * Conduct on-site customer visits to assess needs and recommend appropriate products or services * Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow-up communications * Coordinate with inside sales, service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction * Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information in CRM system * Attend product training, manufacturer training, and sales meetings as required * Support promotional activities, trade shows, and customer events * Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and activity targets Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred * Zero to Two (0-2) years of sales, customer service, or related experience * Interest in industrial, mechanical, or technical products (compressed air experience a plus, not required) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a sales career * Ability to manage time effectively and work independently * Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems) * Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory Preferred Skills & Traits * Mechanical aptitude or technical curiosity * Comfortable speaking with decision-makers and shop personnel * Strong follow-up and organizational skills * Professional appearance and demeanor Compensation & Benefits * Base salary plus commission or incentive plan * Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable) * Paid training and ongoing development * Health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, VOL, GAP, and retirement benefits * 401k Plan with company match * Paid time off and holidays
