Customer Service / Sales Associate (Residential Construction, Granite Countertop Fabrication) Solon, OH Inside Sales / Customer Service Associate manages the needs of our clients on a*day-to-daybasis. Accountmanagement*, customer communication, customer education, showroom management teaming, handling customer warehouse material selection visits, job estimating, and job coordination are the main functions of the Inside Sales / Customer Service Associate. Excellent inter-department communication and coordination is very important to the success of the role. Essential Job Functions: * Maintain knowledge of Granex Industries products and services to ensure reliable customer communication and interaction. * Generate quotes for fabricated stone projects based upon layouts and/or drawings as submitted. * Practice all necessary functions for successful account management. * Follow up on proposals via phone and email. * Coordinate jobs from start to finish. * Perform various office support tasks as needed including, but not limited to, answering incoming calls and handling customer visits. * Assist in other work areas as needed and directed. * Perform all other duties as assigned. Essential Job Skills and Abilities: * Minimum of two years of experience working in an office environment * High School Diploma or GED * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations * Strategic thinking and problem solving skills * Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced showroom environment * Intermediate to advanced proficiency with the Internet and MS Suite * Superior organizational, record keeping and time management skills * Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly and follow directions * Some construction and / or kitchen design knowledge preferred * Thorough knowledge and understanding of Granex Industries products * Ability to work from specific verbal or written instructions and standard operating practices * Ability to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team Granex is an industry leader in custom stone solutions for residential, commercial, hospitality, restaurant, and specialty projects.
