Employee Benefits Account Manager The BenefitWorks is a fast paced, growing insurance brokerage firm in Madison, WI area. We work with employers in a wide variety of industries to secure benefits for our employees, and also help individuals navigate their insurance options. We don't use buzzwords, just straight talk; it's important to us that our clients understand the world of benefits so we can help them achieve their goals. We take care of our clients, and that's where you come in! The BenefitWorks is looking for an individual with previous experience in the employee benefits, medical insurance industry. Your role will be an account manager. It is important that you can work independently, manage priorities, pay attention to details. You will be interacting with clients, employees, carriers via phone, email and video conferencing and occasionally in person. In addition to interacting with our clients you will also answer questions, assist with claims and billing concerns, processing new business and renewals, and prepare employee meeting presentations. No two days will be the same, so flexibility in shifting priorities and a knack of organization is important. Professional communication skills, teamwork, ad proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is essential. Proficiency with Client management programs and HRIS platforms will make you the best candidate for this position. Did we mention paying attention to detail?
