Job: Fleet & Service Sales Manager Company : OHR Rents Location : Cleveland, OH (Hybrid) Job Type : Full Time Pay Range: $40,000-$45,000 (Base) + Commissions Reports To : Sales Manager Position Summary The Fleet & Service Sales Specialist will be responsible for two core business functions: selling used equipment from the OHR rental fleet and selling service plans to new/existing customers who manage their own equipment. This dual-focus role is designed to maximize revenue from existing assets while expanding the company's footprint in aftermarket services. Key Responsibilities Used Equipment Sales * Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date catalog of available used equipment, including specifications, condition reports, and pricing. * Strategy: Prospect and sell used equipment to existing customers, rental accounts, and new buyers. Identify and pursue leads through CRM, industry contacts, online platforms, and social media. * Customer Engagement: Consult & meet with prospective buyers to understand their needs and match them with suitable equipment. * Sales Process Management: Handle quoting, negotiation, and closing of sales, ensuring compliance with company policies. * Fleet Coordination: Work with operations to determine optimal timing for fleet disposition and ensure equipment is sale-ready. * Market Performance: Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to inform sales strategy and pricing decisions. Service Sales * Customer Outreach: Target fleet owners made up of new and existing customers not currently serviced by OHR. The specialist would focus on but not be limited to: Contractors, Rental Companies, Municipalities. * Needs Assessment: Evaluate customer equipment usage and maintenance history to recommend appropriate service plans and/or possible equipment selling opportunities. * Proposal Development: Create customized service plan packages, including preventative maintenance, inspections, and emergency support. * Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with customers to encourage service renewals along with possible rental and sales prospects. * Collaboration: Work closely with the OHR service department to determine pricing structures, along with smooth onboarding and delivery of services. * Performance Tracking: Monitor service plan adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and renewal metrics. Essential Job Functions * Establish new customers through cold calling and personal visits to offices and job sites. * Service existing customers. * Coordinate and communicate with branch personnel throughout the rental process. * Meet or exceed rental and sales budget. * Develop product knowledge of current and new fleet. * Educating customers on equipment capabilities. * Territory will be defined as (but not limited to) all areas where OHR Rents conducts day-to-day business operations. Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of sales experience, outside sales preferred. * Background in contractor equipment sales * Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes. * Proficient computer skills. * Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Detail oriented. * Ability to multi-task and prioritize. * Bachelor's degree preferred Physical Requirements * Ability to visit customer sites, job sites, and equipment yards, including walking on uneven surfaces, gravel, mud, or construction environments. * Ability to operate a motor vehicle in compliance with company and state safety requirements.
