Job Overview Our shop location, at 425 S.W. Military Dr. San Antonio Texas 78221, is looking for 2 candidates who will keep up with our fast paced and evolving store! The shifts we are hiring for are mainly night shifts from 4:00pm-12:00am, with some being morning shifts from 8:00am-4:00pm. We need employees who can work and clean for 2+ hours if needed, since we do rearrange our shop depending on the season and inventory. This location is looking for candidates that can build rapport with our customers, to ensure their return for the future! You must have reliable transportation, and sales experience is encouraged but not required. Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience * Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns * Assist customers with product demos (if needed) and upselling to enhance their purchase experience * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays as directed by the direct Store Manager and District Manager , and ensuring products are well-presented as told * Conduct product knowledge sharing and suggest complementary items to boost sales * Manage inventory levels by assisting with stock replenishment Requirements * Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; smoke shop/head shop experience is a plus * Must be 21 years of age or up * Must have reliable transportation * Must be able to lift heavy boxes/products safely * Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures * Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus * Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations * Knowledge of smoke shop operations is beneficial but not mandatory * Ability to demonstrate products confidently and conduct product demos effectively if needed * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
