Job Descriptions: We are looking to hire a full-time, live-onsite Community Manager who will manage three apartment complexes located in San Jose, CA with 60-units. These properties are a pet free/smoke free communities. The work schedule will be Tuesday thru Saturday, approximately 35 hours per week. Community Manager must carry a cell phone at all time and be able to respond to leasing and emergency calls. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to: * Leasing -respond to rental leads promptly, answer prospective resident calls, conduct property tours, screen applicants, complete all necessary paperwork and complete the move in process. * Work on capital projects that are happening at the property * Accurately prepare and complete leasing and administrative paperwork * All information should be entered in Yardi Voyager system on a real-time basis Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and competition properties * Place ads on Craigslist and use other marketing tools as directed * Maintain prospect traffic and leasing data and other computer data entry in Yardi * Maintain superb relationships with all residents and vendors * Provide excellent customer service to the residents * Enforces rules and regulations fairly and equitably with all residents * Return missed calls and e-mails promptly * Write approved letters and memos as needed * Process rental payments and monitor accounts * Prepare Move-out accounting * Order supplies and process invoices * Schedule turnover work and work orders * Complete work order documentation * Follow fair housing guidelines at all times Do You Have: * Three year of prior experience in property management * High School diploma or equivalent * Must have strong verbal and written English skills * Computer literate including Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Yardi Voyager or other property management software systems is helpful * Ability to maintain a professional image and possess great people skills * Must have a valid California Driver's license and state required insurance * Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, friendly, and energetic We offer: * Free one-bedroom unit ($2,195.00), plus an hourly rate of $27.00. * End of the year bonus, based on performance. * Comprehensive benefits - health, dental & vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, tuition reimbursement and more! * Growth based on achievement and promotion from within.
