The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding client accounts on Amazon, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth. The Amazon Account Manager will leverage their expertise in negotiation, marketing, and technology sales to optimize account performance and foster long-term client relationships. Duties * Manage and grow existing Amazon client accounts through proactive engagement and strategic planning * Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and conducting warm calling campaigns * Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to maximize profitability while maintaining strong client relationships * Collaborate with marketing teams to develop tailored promotional strategies that enhance product visibility and sales on Amazon * Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track account activities, sales pipelines, and customer interactions * Conduct regular analysis of account performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions * Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer support * Provide technical sales support by explaining product features, benefits, and solutions tailored to client needs * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Amazon platform policies, marketplace trends, and competitive landscape * Prepare detailed reports on account status, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior management Qualifications * Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management within the e-commerce or technology sectors * Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively * Experience with Amazon marketplace management or similar online retail platforms preferred * Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or comparable CRM software is highly desirable * Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks * Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships * Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data insights for strategic decision-making * Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration * Knowledge of marketing strategies related to online retail and digital advertising is a plus * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple accounts effectively This position offers an engaging environment for motivated professionals eager to excel in the rapidly evolving world of e-commerce.
