About us SMOKE AND TOKE Job Description The primary responsibilities of the Cashier/Sales Associate position are to maintain outstanding customer service, uphold our Core Values, generate sales, merchandise product, and support the store management team. Cashier/Sales Associates are in charge of our Customer-First Philosophy and are essential in delivering the best customer shopping experience possible. Major Responsibilities * Ensure all customers receive outstanding service which follows the S.A.L.E.S process and mystery shop standards. * Following the laws of the GDR and FDA Regulations * Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements. * Execute the daily operations, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management. * Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards. * Help the team keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized. * Be conscious of shoplifting activity. Know how to respond to shoplifters. * Aid customers in locating merchandising in store * Solicit customers to open a Rewards card. * Answer customers' questions and provide information on products. * Tactfully and pleasantly deal with customers. * Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers. * Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by store management. . Minimum Requirements Sales and/or marketing experience in a retail environment, establishing relationships and working with customers. Knowledge of retail computer systems, * A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction. * Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills. * Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task. * Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. * Must Be 21 years of age * Own a RELIABLE vehicle with proper insurance and license Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, move and handle up to 30 pounds frequently to stock merchandise Ability to stand/walk for an extended period of time. * Ability to bend, reach, and lift Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: To be discussed based off experience Work Remotely * No Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $8.00 - $11.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Shift: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Night shift Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * Customer Service: 1 year (Required) * Cash handling: 1 year (Required) * Retail sales: 1 year (Required) Shift availability: * Day Shift (Preferred) * Night Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
