We are currently seeking a full-time, career opportunity for an experienced Hospice Liaison / Business Development Executive (BDE). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the hospice/home health industry with established referral resources. Hospital-based referrals a plus. APPLICANTS WITHOUT ANY HOSPICE MARKETING EXPERIENCE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DENIED Must also be willing and able to build lasting relationships with other healthcare providers, discharge planners, physicians, and case managers to facilitate referrals and admissions to our facility. Compensation is based on experience with a bonus structure available for exceptional performance. Job Summary: The BDE is responsible for executing the sales strategy to increase company market share through account development and educate the medical community on its services. Qualifications: * Two years of prior successful Hospice marketing experience in San Antonio with established, consistent referral sources. (required) * High school diploma or equivalent (required) * Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills (required) * Must be able to travel (required) * Excellent people skills, including the ability to communicate effectively. * Confidence to deliver presentations on hospice care, aging, end of life, and other appropriate topics to local community groups * The ability to work independently * Genuine caring for families experiencing the end of life and terminal illness * Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities * Ability to comply with company and departmental safety policies and procedures * Ability to speak, read and write English. Spanish also preferred. * Ability to create trust and rapport with multiple internal and external clinical teams * Ability to complete consents in a compassionate manner * Prepare weekly reports as required * Promote internal efforts targeting community relations programs Job Type: Full-time Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
