This is for our North Whidbey area .Successful candidates will be engaging and goal-oriented, with good organizational skills and will have the ability to grow and maintain strong business relationships through consultative sales and excellent customer service. Multi Media Marketing Executive for Whidbey Island The Whidbey News Group is looking for a self-motivated, results-driven person interested in becoming a Multimedia marketing executive. We offer a complete portfolio of digital marketing technology and tactics in addition to our award winning print publications. Successful candidates will be engaging and goal- oriented, and will have the ability to grow and maintain strong business relationships through consultative sales, excellent customer service and the ability to match the customers goals to the marketing services that will benefit them most. ABOUT THIS POSITION: This is an established territory, with a solid base of active customers and excellent potential for future growth. You would be responsible for developing effective marketing campaigns for local businesses. You will be using tactics such as print, pay-per-click, SEO, video, numerous digital targeting tactics, and social media programs for a variety of clients. Candidates must be within commuting distance. Frequent in- person meetings with local businesses is required. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Excellent customer service skills and responsiveness. * Persuasive written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to Identify new business opportunities, aggressively pursue them. * Computer proficiency with common social media platforms and business programs. * Organizational skills and the ability to be motivated by deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * A valid WA driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable insured vehicle. * Media sales experience is preferred, but not required. * A successful track record of business to business sales or other similar experience is welcome and will be considered.
