This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES * Manage and lead new and used vehicle sales departments to achieve volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction goals. * Recruit, train, coach, and motivate sales staff to maximize performance. * Establish and monitor sales processes, pricing strategies, and desking procedures. * Oversee inventory management, including ordering, appraisals, aging, and merchandising. * Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and state/federal regulations. * Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution. * Analyze sales reports, forecasts, and market trends to drive strategic decisions. * Collaborate with finance, service, and marketing departments to optimize dealership performance. * Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Proven experience in automotive sales management (new and used vehicles). * Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing abilities along with solid analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and CRM tools. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and meets dealership insurability requirements.
