We're looking for a Sales Support team member who enjoys helping customers and working closely with a supportive, collaborative team. This role is a mix of customer service and sales support, with opportunities to build relationships both in-house and out in the field. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inside Sales Duties- 75% of the role: * Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person at the branch, providing accurate information on HVAC parts and equipment. * Process customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. * Assist with Parts billing to ensure accurate accounting and department goals are met. * Process warranty orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. * Maintain an organized and updated customer database, keeping track of orders, quotations, and customer preferences. * Provide quotes and follow up on pending orders and leads to close sales. * Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and offering solutions. Outside Sales Duties- 25% of the role: * Prospect and develop new business opportunities by identifying potential customers within the region. * Conduct in-person visits to customer sites, contractors, and distributors to promote HVAC parts and develop long-term relationships. * Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close sales and achieve sales targets. * Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to expand professional networks and stay informed of industry trends. * Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers, highlighting product benefits and features. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or sales training is a plus. * 3+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role (HVAC, construction, or parts experience is a plus, but not required). * Comfort communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person, with a focus on providing accurate, helpful solutions. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage orders, quotes, and customer information accurately. * Attention to detail, especially when processing orders, billing, and warranty requests. * A customer-first mindset with a natural ability to follow up and build trust over time. * Interest in developing outside sales skills, including prospecting, relationship-building, and in-person customer visits. * Willingness to learn product offerings, pricing, and industry trends.
