Salary: DOE Reference: 3INDP011425 Stone Mountain area | Salary DOE -Position is Direct Hire About the Role: Leadership position managing the complete project lifecycle for pallet racking installations and material handling solutions. You'll oversee project managers who sell and execute installations, while driving business development and operational excellence in a competitive market. Primary Responsibilities: Project Management & Execution: * Oversee all pallet racking installation projects from design through completion * Manage and develop project managers who handle both sales and installation execution * Design warehouse layouts and racking systems that maximize space utilization and customer value * Coordinate multi-phase warehouse installations, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability across all project sizes * Balance quick-turn component sales with complex installation projects while maintaining service standards * Manage project timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction across concurrent installations Business Development & Sales Leadership: * Lead sales and project management team to pursue new business and deepen customer relationships * Drive revenue growth through strategic business development and relationship building * Develop competitive pricing strategies that win business in challenging market conditions Operations & Strategic Planning: * Develop procurement strategy for new and used pallet racking inventory * Source and negotiate warehouse decommissioning opportunities * Assess equipment value, condition, and make strategic buy/keep decisions * Navigate volatile steel pricing through smart margin management and flexible sourcing * Manage inventory flow and coordination with warehouse operations Required Qualifications: * Strong project management experience with complex installations or construction projects * Experience managing project managers or technical sales teams * Proven ability to drive business development and win in competitive markets * Experience in warehouse layout design, space optimization, or material handling systems * Strategic thinker who understands margin management and pricing strategy * Ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality standards * Experience evaluating and procuring equipment inventory * Track record of building customer relationships and closing technical sales Please include your compensation expectations with your resume To apply for the Project Management Director position, please submit your resume in response to this ad or fill out an application on our website, impactstaffing.com Impact Staffing is a local staffing and recruiting company with a team of Atlanta-area recruiters ready to help you find work.
