Veteran Owned and Operated, Coastland is dedicated to providing our customers the best products, materials, service and craftsmanship throughout the Cape Fear & Coastal Plains of North Carolina and is seeking dynamic, innovative, Outside Sales and Marketing Consultant to join our Business Development team. Joining the Coastland Team THIS POSITION WILL SERVE THE AREAS OF: Cape Fear Region - Brunswick, New Hanover, Pender, Duplin & Onslow Counties PAY STRUCTURE: COMMISSION We are looking to hire enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Consultants to be the face and voice of our organization. As a successful candidate, you will join a driven, innovative sales team with a specialized knowledge of delivering sustainable outdoor living solutions to our customers. Our core specialty products are as innovative as our processes and include: * StruXure Pergola X and Cabana X - Hurricane rated aluminum louvered roof structures with smart technology. * TimberTech Deck and Rail - Composite and Advanced PVC decking that provide lifetime warranties. * Owens Corning Lumber - The world's first composite structural framing lumber that is completely waterproof and revolutionizes marine applications. * Fenetex Roll Screens - Our latest add featuring retractable screens at the touch of a button. * Open Louvered Pergolas - Vinyl/Aluminum fixed louvered pergolas for curb appeal beyond traditional lumber. Sales and Marketing Responsibilities To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication and networking skills and strong self-motivation. Previous experience in a quota carrying role or similar is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles. Specific daily responsibilities include: * Guide home and business owners through on-site design specifics by showcasing product and material knowledge and developing strong rapport with customer. * Collaborate closely with our in-house leadership and engineering teams to craft tailor-made outdoor living spaces that epitomize luxury and functionality. * Engage directly with customers, from the initial concept discussions through to the thrilling reveal of their custom project proposal. * Network with prospective residential and commercial customers to develop brand awareness and new sales opportunities. * Utilize your refined selling skills to articulate the value and uniqueness of our products, driving sales and exceeding targets through persuasive presentations and proposals. * Embrace opportunities for professional development within a supportive and dynamic team environment, contributing to and benefiting from our collective success. * Develop B2B and B2C relationships by cultivating strong working relationships in the community. * Monitor customer feedback and provide resolutions. * Maintain a positive image of the Coastland brand at all times. * Ensure project is delivered to the customers' expectations and contracted work is fully executed. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field experience. * Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation on a daily basis. * 2+ years prior experience in a sales environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Working knowledge of CRM software, social media platforms and tools. * Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure effective use of time.
