A Japanese Machinery Company in the Florence, KY area is looking for a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer who has an Electrical Engineering background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have some Japanese language skills (but does not have to be fluent) and possess a strong technical background coupled with exceptional sales abilities. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and customer needs, ensuring that clients receive the best possible service and support. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, presenting tailored solutions, and driving sales growth through technical expertise of machines and tooling. We are looking for someone with strong a Electrical Engineering background. You will need a clean driver's license and your own vehicle for this position. You are also required to be able to drive long distances to visit your clients. Responsibilities for Bilingual (English / Japanese) Sales Engineer with Electrical Engineering Background: * Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers. * Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our solutions effectively. * Analyze customer needs and provide tailored recommendations based on their specific requirements. * Assist in the preparation of proposals and technical documentation. * Engage in pre-sales activities. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies. * Provide ongoing support to customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and retention. * Work closely with engineering teams to relay customer feedback for product improvement. * Other duties assigned by your managers. Requirements for Bilingual (English / Japanese) Sales Engineer with Electrical Engineering Background: * Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Studies area * Has some Japanese language skill and cultural understanding * Minimum of 1-2 previous experience in sales or technical sales roles, preferably within the robotic sector. * Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and automation machines. * Proficiency in analyzing complex problems and providing effective solutions. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. * Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. * Clean driver's license record and valid US driver's license. * Must be US citizen or permanent resident of US (Because we cannot sponsor any immigration visa for this position) . * Ability to do business trips.
