Design Sales Consultant About the Company For nearly two decades, this leading home design studio has specialized in window treatments and curated home furnishings. Known for blending quality, creativity, and personalized service, the team helps homeowners elevate their spaces with beautiful, functional designs from custom draperies and shades to thoughtfully selected furniture and decor. About the Role We're looking for a Design Sales Consultant who combines strong sales acumen with a creative eye. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a background in design, furniture, or soft goods who thrives on relationship- building and delivering top-tier service. Location: Hockessin, DE 19707 What You'll Get: * Compensation: $75,000-95,000 projected earnings in Year 1 * PTO: 5 days (prorated first year) + 6 paid holidays * Health Reimbursement: Stipend for health insurance * Company Vehicle available for client appointments * Schedule: M, T, F: 10AM-5PM; Wed & Thur: until 10AM-7PM; occasional Saturdays What You'll Do * Meet with clients in the showroom to understand their style, needs, and project goals * Conduct in-home visits for measurements and product recommendations * Generate leads and follow up to nurture long-term relationships * Collaborate with builders and designers on custom window treatment and home decor solutions * Present, price, and close sales with confidence and professionalism * Oversee order details and hand off to the administrative team for fulfillment * Attend installations for key projects to ensure client satisfaction Who You Are * Experienced in interior design, preferably niches such as textile fabrication, window treatments, custom closets, or custom cabinetry, and more- with an emphasis on and an interest in sales. * Polished, articulate, and able to communicate eloquently * Detail-oriented with strong math and spatial skills * Tech-savvy and comfortable working with CRM systems and digital tools * Organized, dependable, and proactive in managing projects * Creative eye for design and coordination Ready to bring your design expertise and sales skills to a company that values creativity and integrity?
