Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Temporary Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service and have a knack for sales. As a Temporary Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers. * Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are stocked appropriately. * Assist in inventory management through stocking shelves and managing stock levels. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks effectively. * Communicate effectively with team members and customers, fostering a positive shopping environment. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. * Basic math skills are necessary for accurate transaction processing. * Experience with merchandising and stocking practices is a plus. * Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele. * Knowledge of grocery store operations can be beneficial for this role.
