Job Overview * In addition to the $10/hour base pay, This position shares in a tip pool that is divided up according to hours worked weekly* We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting them with their automotive needs. Your expertise in automotive products and services will help drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction. Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries regarding automotive parts and services. * Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently. * Manage cash register operations, ensuring accurate cash handling and record-keeping. * Maintain an organized inventory system, including tracking stock levels and assisting with inventory management. * Provide knowledgeable support in automotive diagnostics to help customers select the right products for their needs. * Collaborate with team members to promote sales initiatives and meet dealership goals. * Assist in marketing efforts to attract new customers and retain existing ones. * Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and services to effectively address customer questions. Qualifications * Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably within an automotive dealership or repair environment. * Familiarity with automotive diagnostics is a plus. * Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems for transaction processing. * Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory management practices. * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
