Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively assist customers.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and returns.
• Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members when required, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Support inventory management by assisting with stock counts and product replenishment. Experience
• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
