Our organization is seeking a highly skilled field sales manager to be a member of our East region. Reporting to the regional sales manager, the primary purpose of the field sales manager is to be responsible for all sales activities within the designated region Great Lakes Region: Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan). Essential duties & responsibilities: * Travel throughout a designated region to promote and sell company products * Plan own itinerary and schedule meetings with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), distributors, and end users to determine their needs * Evaluate market penetration in the assigned region, work from leads, market data, and customer inquiries * Conduct product training * Notify technical service personnel of special or unique challenges * Keep abreast of competitor activities within the region * Attend trade shows as needed * Use company software and sales programs (CRM) * Provide customer awareness to warranty process * Perform other duties as assigned * Must be willing to live in the sales territory and travel on a regular basis Experience & skills: * Must possess a high school diploma or GED * Knowledge of heavy truck equipment industry is preferred * Three (3) plus years of work related experience * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing * Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and ability to work well with others as well as working independently * Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint * Demonstrated successful field sales in a business to business environment Preferred Qualifications * Associate or bachelor's degree preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $97,087.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
