Job Description: Grow overall AV revenue and profit, while achieving customer satisfaction from pre-production through post-event phases of service. Must be able to hunt and solicit new and repeat business through a proactive account management approach that incorporates consultative selling skills. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key personnel and clients to enhance the overall business relationships. * Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Solicit and secure business for OPAV through a proactive, consultative account management approach * Utilize OPAV's sales process and sales standards * Obtain definite bookings from the venue, assign opportunities, proactively contact customers, and create professional bids and proposals by actively using OPAV resources and marketing collateral * Utilize an understanding of costs associated with sales, including labor, commission and equipment outsourcing and work within established profitability guidelines. * Annual Sales Expectations are to exceed $2 Million in revenues. * Additional Duties and Responsibilities: * Utilizes coordination and integration of efforts among multiple departments in order to successfully execute sales, events, and client satisfaction. * Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community. * Performs other related duties as assigned. * Follows policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations. * Required Skills/Abilities: * Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. * Superior managerial and diplomacy skills. * Prior account management experience in audiovisual, technology, event, or hospitality experience preferred * Knowledge of sales process required in addition to the ability to read and decipher financial reports and records * Technical aptitude, computer proficiency and ERP knowledge preferred.
