Full description of the position
Job Summary The Territory Manager plays a critical role in driving growth across assigned regions. This is performed by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating strong, long-term relationships with existing customers. The Territory Manager is also responsible for increasing sales of our products through various activities such as training, onsite estimating, open house events and general entertainment. This candidate combines strong sales execution with a solid understanding of HVAC technologies and various applications. Responsibilities Sales & Business Development * Responsible for sales of Space-Ray products in North Carolina and South Carolina * Manage and grow sales revenue within the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets * Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company objectives * Identify and pursue new customer opportunities * Manage territory pricing in conjunction with the Space-Ray Product Manager Account Management * Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers * Make sales, training and sizing calls as needed within the assigned territory * Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts * Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and business reviews Technical & Product Support * Provide product recommendations and application guidance for Space-Ray equipment * Support customers with product selection, specifications, and system integration * Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Service teams to resolve technical or delivery issues * Stay current on product features, industry codes, and regulatory requirements Channel & Market Development * Work closely with manufacturer's reps to drive sales and product awareness * Support training initiatives for customers and channel partners * Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback * Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings Reporting & Administration * Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and CRM records * Prepare regular sales reports and territory updates * Manage travel and expenses in accordance with company policy Requirements, Skills, and Education * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. This knowledge may be acquired through training or tenure * A minimum of 3 years outside sales experience, preferably in commercial HVAC sales * Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Strong networking and relationship building abilities * Ability to work under pressure and in a fast pace, quick changing environmentGas-Fired Products, Inc.
