Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong customer service skills, an understanding of property management, and the ability to effectively handle conflicts and negotiations. Responsibilities * Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants, highlighting features and benefits. * Manage the leasing process from application through move-in, including screening applicants and preparing lease agreements. * Maintain knowledge of local rental market trends and property management regulations, including LIHTC and Section 8 requirements. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive relationships. * Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track leads, follow up with prospects, and manage tenant communications. * Assist in marketing efforts to promote available properties through various channels. * Collaborate with property management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations. * Upsell additional services or amenities that enhance the tenant experience. Qualifications * Strong management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively. * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. * Knowledge of LIHTC and Section 8 programs is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
