Position Overview We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with outgoing telephone sales experience or a recent college graduate with at least some outgoing telephone sales experience during college attendance who is eager to start a career in recruiting and healthcare staffing. You will be responsible for both developing relationships with hospital administrators and decision-makers to source new job opportunities. This is a high-call-volume role --if you're not comfortable spending most of your day on the phone, this position is not a fit. Key Responsibilities * Conduct outbound calls to hospital administrators and healthcare decision makers to source new contracts, job openings, and build rapport on behalf of MD Staff. * Build and maintain a strong book of business with new clients. * Negotiate contract terms and conditions with hiring authorities. * Maintain accurate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). * Collaborate with internal team members using Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams. Qualifications * Inside outgoing and incoming telephone sales experience a must. * Confident and professional communication skills, especially with highly educated professionals. * High level of articulation. * Initiative and problem solving skills independent of oversight or direction. * Self-motivated and goal oriented. * Interest in healthcare or medical staffing is a plus. * Basic technical proficiency required; experience with ATS systems is helpful. * Must be comfortable with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.). * Prefer a minimum of two years professional outgoing sales experience. * Recent college graduates with some sales experience welcome to apply.
