Roofing & Insurance (R&I) Specialist Bardin Roofing Location: North Metro Atlanta Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday (4-8 roofs per day based on demand; occasional weekends) Position Overview Bardin Roofing is seeking an experienced Roofing & Insurance (R&I) Specialist to manage homeowners' insurance claims and perform professional roof inspections for our clients. This role focuses on inspections, documentation, and working directly with insurance companies and adjusters. This is NOT a residential sales position. You will NOT be selling roofs to homeowners. You will be climbing and inspecting roofs of all sizes and heights and must follow proper safety standards. Candidates must have their own basic climbing tools and be comfortable performing multiple inspections daily. Compensation & Benefits * $60,000 Base Salary * Company Truck Provided * Climbing Gear Provided (excluding boots) * $400/month Gas & Maintenance Allowance * $85,000 total base compensation & equipment value * $15,000+ in performance-based bonuses * Performance revenue bonus opportunities * Comprehensive training program (up to 4 weeks) * Up to $3,000 paid training compensation * 30 -90 day probationary period after training Daily Responsibilities * Conduct initial roof inspections to identify storm damage * Perform pre-inspections before meeting with insurance adjusters, including marking damage and taking detailed photos * Confirm and document damage for insurance claim reports * Inspect leaking roofs to determine required repairs * Meet with insurance adjusters (in-person, ladder assist, or virtual) to ensure damage is properly identified * Assist adjusters with roofing knowledge to support accurate claim outcomes * Perform emergency tarping and post-build inspections as needed * Communicate with homeowners after inspections, addressing questions and handling objections professionally Requirements * MUST HAVE 1+ years of experience in roofing sales and/or roof climbing * Currently employed or recently employed in the roofing industry * Ability to climb and inspect steep and high roofs * Strong understanding of storm damage to roofs and homes * Ability to confirm and clearly document storm damage * Knowledge of what insurance companies require to approve claims * Ability to follow Bardin Roofing's established insurance claim process * Strong communication skills when working with homeowners, insurance representatives, and adjusters * Possess necessary tools for climbing and roof inspections (ladders, safety equipment, etc.) * Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance * Comfortable using CRM systems and other software * Must have a cell phone and computer Ideal Candidate * Detail-oriented and safety-focused * Professional and confident working with homeowners and insurance adjusters * Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple inspections per day * Roofing experience with strong insurance claim knowledge If you're an experienced roofing professional looking for a non-sales, inspection-focused role with strong base pay, bonuses, and company support, apply today to join Bardin Roofing.
