Company Overview Security Public Storage (SPS) is a family-owned and operated self-storage company with over 52+ self-storage facilities located in California, Oregon, Nevada, Maryland & Virginia. Job Summary Seeking a highly ambitious, career-oriented, bilingual professional to work assisting in the operating and selling of units at our busy self-storage facility Oceanside and Escondido. 2-3 days at each site. Compensation and Perks * $18 per hour and commission! * $10 - $20 for every storage unit rented on days you work alone, which we estimate to *Combined between the separate commission components, we estimate that your extra earning are between the equivalent of $2.00-$3.00 per hour additional - bringing your potential combined equivalent compensation to between $19 and $21 per hour. * Employee discount on storage units. Qualifications and Skill * Must be bilingual - English/Spanish * Sales and marketing experience or mindset * Passion for interacting with the public * Meticulous attention to detail and organization skills * Enthusiasm for face-to-face networking * Proficient with technology including CRMs, web browsers and the Microsoft Office Suite * Receptive to ongoing coaching and feedback * Previous property management experience a plus Duties * Oversight of all day-to-day operations * Works alongside team members and direct reports to maximize sales, marketing, occupancy, and revenue growth the facility * Provides outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer queries and problems and professionally * Effectively sells storage units to telephone, walk-in and email inquiries by employing the methods within our Call Flow Guidelines * Completes leases and other documentation in a neat and orderly manner * Reduces delinquent accounts through telephone, text and email contact * Networks with other businesses to grow awareness and expand presence within the local community * Audits inventory and other administrative tasks * Maintains exemplary curb appeal in both our office and throughout that facility, including sweeping units, cleaning hallways and disposing of debris We value diversity at Security Public Storage.
