The Company Based in San Antonio, Texas, this organization is an emerging leader in hospice care, providing home-based hospice services for patient populations across a vast service area in Central Texas, with a concentration of operations in the San Antonio metro area. The Position Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Community Liaison cultivates and nurtures relationships with referrals sources, driving census and demonstrating value for patients, families, and providers within an assigned geographic market. Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: * Identifying and developing key C-suite customer relationships within the marketplace, as appropriate * Managing sales time and resources according to plan * Establishing/maintaining working relationships with key line contracts, marketing, clinical, and specialty management staff to ensure thorough understanding of company products and services, also ensuring referral sources are kept abreast of product lines/services * Maintaining a sales territory and calling on physicians, multiple facility types such as hospital, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, facility discharge planning services, and/or management, assisted living and other senior living settings * Maintaining detailed territory list, prioritizing accounts in accordance with the market/territory sales plan * Maintaining detailed territory management systems records as required * Meeting with management to discuss market sales activities, new opportunities, potential problems, and environmental factors impacting sales * Gathering/organizing account related information and provide input on key customer opportunities, service, or other offerings * Making sales calls, arranging appointments, and delivering educational programs to keep referral sources current in company service offerings * Acting as liaison between referral sources and company staff to provide information on company services, resolve problems, and maintain positive customer relationships * Complying with technology process and expectations * Maintaining relationships with referral/community sources * Participating in professional organizations and conducting care-related programs * Performing other related duties as assigned or requested The Successful Candidate The Community Liaison is a consummate professional, demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities to drive local market sales and business development efforts for this growing provider of hospice services. These competencies include, but are not limited to, the following: * Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or health related science preferred * Proven track record of success in referral development for hospice or home-based post-acute services * Knowledge of hospice reimbursement and payors * Deep knowledge of contemporary sales and marketing techniques * Track record of success in fast-paced, high-accountability environments * Exceptional organizational skills * Ability to travel within an assigned territory and to sales meetings as required * Proficiency with MS Office applications and web programs * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to project a professional image * Self-motivated, self-starting personality * Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile liability insurance Compensation The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive compensation package, including, but is not limited to, the following: * Competitive base salary * Incentive compensation * BCBS Medical Insurance with 75% employer contribution * Voluntary Dental and Vision Insurance * Critical Illness Insurance * Life Insurance * AD&D Insurance * PTO (Paid Time Off) * 6 Paid Holidays ind123
