Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assess their rental needs through active listening and effective communication. * Present rental options clearly, explaining features, benefits, terms, and conditions to facilitate informed decisions. * Manage inventory control by tracking rental items, ensuring proper maintenance, and coordinating timely returns or exchanges. * Conduct public speaking engagements or product demonstrations to promote rental services and special offers. * Maintain accurate data entry of customer information, rental agreements, and transaction details using Microsoft Word and Excel. * Handle administrative tasks at the front desk, including phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and processing payments. * Negotiate rental terms with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to company policies. * Collaborate with marketing teams to promote rental promotions through various channels and outreach efforts. * Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and following up post-rental. * Perform routine maintenance checks on rental equipment or vehicles to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Experience * Prior experience in retail sales or outside sales is highly desirable; experience in rental or inventory management is a plus. * Strong communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging diverse customer bases. * Demonstrated proficiency in sales management, negotiation, and customer service roles. * Familiarity with inventory control systems, data entry procedures, and administrative tasks using Microsoft Word and Excel. * Experience with public speaking or conducting product demonstrations can enhance your effectiveness in promoting services. * Organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. * Previous work at a front desk or in retail math calculations will support your success in this role.
