Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative is a core revenue-generating role responsible for technical quoting, pricing support, and customer account management. This position focuses on understanding customer requirements, preparing accurate and competitive quotations, and converting opportunities into profitable sales. This is not a transactional or call-center role. Success requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, pricing discipline, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly. The role supports both existing customers and new business opportunities through phone, email, and digital communication channels. Key Responsibilities * Generate accurate, competitive quotes that meet customer specifications and company margin objectives * Maintain accountability for quote accuracy, pricing structure, and margin performance * Meet or exceed quoting and sales performance goals established by the Inside Sales Manager * Deliver consistently high levels of customer service via phone, email, and electronic communication * Build and maintain professional, long-term relationships with customers * Collaborate with outside sales and management on account strategy, pricing decisions, and quote development * Interpret customer requirements and negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and service solutions * Expedite orders and proactively respond to customer inquiries and issues * Maintain current knowledge of products, metal alloys, pricing structures, and relevant market conditions Preferred Qualifications & Experience Candidates should possess one or more of the following: * Inside sales, estimating, or quoting experience within a metals service center, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or related technical environment * Prior experience with metal products or material specifications (non-ferrous experience strongly preferred) * Background in industrial or technical sales with pricing or margin responsibility * Strong math skills with the ability to analyze pricing, cost structures, and margins * Administrative or support experience involving technical products, drawings, or specifications * Interest in chemistry, materials science, or engineered products Desired Skills & Characteristics * Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Analytical thinker with sound judgment in pricing and negotiation * Clear, professional written and verbal communicator * Customer-focused with a solutions-oriented mindset * Self-motivated and accountable for results * Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Why Join Atlas Bronze? * Competitive compensation and benefits * Career growth within a specialized and respected industry * Exposure to technically demanding products and customers * A knowledgeable, supportive team environment * Long-term stability with a company that values expertise, accuracy, and performance If you are interested in applying your skills in a technical sales environment where knowledge, precision, and accountability matter, we encourage you to apply.
