M. Pope & Co. Sales Manager / Operations M. Pope & Co. is Worcester's destination for diamonds, engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are looking for the perfect full time candidate to join our team as Sales Manager. The candidate we are looking for MUST be a self starting entrepreneur who is ready to lead a team with continued growth and vision Candidates must have superior retail sales capabilities with experience in selling fine jewelry with a concentration in diamonds. Must be flexible, open to new ways of selling and willing to learn and grow with our business. We look forward to meeting you! Please check out more details about the job below Ability to work retail store hours as necessary, including nights, weekends and holidays. Our normal 5 day full time work week is Tuesday - Saturday. (Additional Hours Required for the Christmas Holiday Season) Organized and detail oriented with strong analytical skills Flexibility to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Apple Products, Social Media Applications Must have authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based. A college/university degree preferred but not required. Salary Based On Proven Experience Key Accountabilities: Become familiar with our product information, understanding features and salability. Commitment to building customer relationships and loyalty through personal interactions. Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services and use this knowledge to build sales. Lead part-time sales team to achieve sales and company objectives through sales education and development. Punctuality and Dependability is Paramount! This position will require key holder responsibilities. Skill Summary: Possesses drive, is goal-oriented, has an entrepreneurial outlook. Knowledge and sales of fine jewelry Minimum of 5 years experience required. Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers; demonstrates an energetic and positive attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and learn new procedures Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
