If you're interested in joining this special team or learning more about our growing company visit [please apply online] Position Summary The Truckload Account Manager fosters strong customer and carrier relationships and manages a variety of clients within the logistics and supply chain industry. This individual manages client engagement, monitors day-to-day activities, and cultivates business relationships to encourage growth within existing accounts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following: * Manage the needs of full truckload clients within the logistics and supply chain industry * Maintain strong relationships within the client organizations at the decision maker and end-user levels, present a consistent company image to those clients, and build and maintain high levels of client satisfaction * Develop SOPs, KPIs, and other measurements while onboarding new customers, and ensure these metrics are met and regularly reported for existing customers. * Manage the contract renewal process * Support day-to-day operations * Conduct annual account reviews * Promote account penetration by pursuing sales growth opportunities with current customers within other departments * Nurture prospect relationships over extended sales cycles * Manage the negotiation and closing processes for each unique contract * Other administrative duties as assigned Specific Department Responsibilities * Maintain current understanding of applicable requirements and laws Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
