Position Overview The Non-Traditional Foodservice Sales Representative will identify, pursue, and secure foodservice contracts across multiple sectors. This role is ideal for someone with broadline distributor experience-- especially from Sysco, US Foods, PFG, or similar--and a strong understanding of navigating institutional procurement and multi-unit foodservice partnerships. Key Responsibilities * Identify and pursue non-traditional foodservice opportunities, including:- K-12 schools- Universities and higher education- Healthcare systems and hospitals- Corporate dining- Government facilities- On-premise and captive-audience locations (arenas, airports, travel plazas, etc.) * Build and maintain relationships with purchasing directors, foodservice administrators, and contract decision-makers. * Conduct prospecting efforts, including calls, visits, site evaluations, and proposal presentations. * Navigate RFP/RFI processes and prepare contract submissions. * Collaborate closely with operations and leadership to ensure the successful launch and execution of new partnerships. * Track pipeline activity, maintain CRM data, and meet targeted sales goals. * Stay informed on foodservice trends, competitor offerings, and regional procurement processes Qualifications * 3-5+ years of sales experience in foodservice distribution strongly preferred (Sysco, US Foods, PFG, Gordon Food Service, etc.). * Proven ability to sell into schools, healthcare, institutions, or similar contract-based environments. * Strong understanding of purchasing cycles, bidding processes, and contract compliance requirements. * Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. * Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with both autonomy and collaboration. * Ability to travel within assigned territory REQUIREMENTS About Us We are a growing Slim Chickens franchise group with a strong commitment to operational excellence, strategic expansion, and partnerships that elevate our brand.
