Team Lead
Job Description
Reports To: Studio Manager or District Manager Location: On-site Type of Employment: Part-Time (20-30 hours/week) or Full-Time (30-40 hours/week) Position
Overview
The Team Lead supports the Studio Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional member experiences, and maintaining smooth studio flow. This is an in-studio role -- all hours are spent on-site assisting members, staff, and studio operations. Team Leads collaborate with the Studio Manager to ensure one of them is present during key operating hours and may work closely with the Wellness and Recovery Manager at studios offering recovery and massage therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Operations: Supervise Front Desk and Shift Leads, coach staff for performance, and assist with onboarding and training. Ensure operational coverage and address issues promptly, escalating to the Studio Manager or District Manager when needed.
- Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional environment, resolve member concerns quickly, and ensure a consistent, positive client experience.
- Sales & Promotions: Drive sales of memberships, recovery services, and retail products. Support studio promotions and events that align with sales and engagement goals.
- Studio & Retail Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of all studio areas. Monitor and restock inventory. Support retail flips, visual merchandising, and keep displays full and appealing.
- Recovery & Wellness Support: Assist with scheduling, client communication, and readiness of recovery and massage therapy spaces for available locations.
- Member Engagement: Build connections with members, promote events and workshops, and encourage retention through active engagement.
Qualifications
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in fitness, customer service, or sales.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a sales-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in POS and scheduling software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation
