Job Summary Ora Management and Development is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to develop and implement the total sales and marketing efforts for the hotel, to include securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, supervising activities of sales to maximize the profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. Job Description: * Responsible for achieving sales goals as directed by Management standards. * Solicit new and existing accounts to meet / exceed goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication. * Uses effective oral and written communication in sales solicitation efforts in order to maximize both group room sales and corporate sales within the hotel. * Ability to negotiate and close the sale effectively for hotel room sales with ability to proactively up sell the hotel and facilities to achieve the ADR and RevPar goals. * Monitor market trends and related information to develop marketing and sales strategies, noting changes in the economic, business climate and events in the area. Focus on competitive hotels based on comp set data. * Ability to create effective action plans and execute for performance. * Maintain active membership in local and national associations which benefit the sales of the hotel * Development and implementation of client recognition, gift delivery, quarterly sales blitz by market or geographical destination. * Maintains effective response time to all lead inquiries from Brand. * All traces are maintained up to date with updates or re-trace based on client response * Reporting: * Weekly Sales Meeting Reporting - Attend and review individual Sales Reports with Management Staff. * Monthly Sales Meeting with Management to discuss performance Job Type: Full-time Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Hotel management: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: * Mason, OH 45040 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Mason, OH 45040: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
