Job Overview Young's Inc. is an established giftware distributor expanding its logistics capabilities to support a growing third-party logistics (3PL) operation. Leveraging existing warehouse infrastructure and operational expertise, the company provides flexible storage, handling, and value-added logistics services to manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers, and e-commerce businesses. Young's Inc. specializes in solutions for companies requiring immediate warehouse space, adaptable lease terms, and efficient inbound and outbound processing. In addition to supporting its own distribution needs, the company leases warehouse space to local and regional businesses, offering scalable logistics support designed to meet changing demand. As part of its growth strategy, Young's Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue by acquiring new customers, expanding existing client relationships, and developing targeted sales strategies. Collaboration between sales and operations is central to the company's customer-first approach, ensuring reliable service and long-term partnerships. Duties * Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize pallet storage utilization and short-term warehouse occupancy * Prospect, qualify, and secure new 3PL, broker, and shipper relationships needing overflow or temporary storage solutions * Manage ongoing relationships with 3PL partners to become a preferred overflow and surge-capacity provider * Understand customer requirements including pallet counts, dwell time, handling needs, accessorial, and service-level expectations * Prepare pricing proposals for short-term storage, month-to-month agreements, and project-based work * Negotiate service agreements and rate structures aligned with operational capacity and margin goals * Coordinate closely with warehouse operations to ensure accurate capacity planning and smooth customer onboarding * Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline updates, and demand forecasts * Monitor market demand trends, seasonal volume shifts, and competitor offerings * Attend industry events, logistics networking functions, and 3PL partner meetings * Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue and occupancy targets * Update and maintain Google business and Young's Website. * Respond to Google business, Loopnet, Crexi inquiries within 30 minutes. Skills * Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred) * Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills * Experience working with 3PLs, brokers, and contract logistics providers * Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace * Ability to manage multiple accounts and fast-moving opportunities * Willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed * 3-7 years of B2B sales experience in warehousing, 3PL, logistics, or freight services * Proven experience selling pallet storage, short-term warehousing, or overflow capacity solutions * Strong understanding of warehouse capacity planning, pallet storage pricing, and dwell time economics * Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills * Experience working with 3PLs, brokers, and contract logistics providers * Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace * Ability to manage multiple accounts and fast-moving opportunities * Willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toledo, OH 43612
