Full description of the position

Summary This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The Sales Representative will support internal communication across departments and contribute to achieving both monthly and annual sales goals. This role also supports workplace safety and continuous improvement efforts. General Job Duties: * To gain a complete understanding of the Company Corporate Philosophy * To exhibit an objective and professional attitude that exemplifies the principles of the Company Corporate Philosophy of maintaining a positive and productive workplace * To exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities that exemplifies the principles of the Company Corporate Philosophy of maintaining a positive team oriented working environment * To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that exemplifies the principles of the Company Corporate Philosophy of maintaining a continuous improvement environment * To follow Company policies and display conduct expected of Company employees as described in the employee handbook * To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Company * To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department's established procedures and work instructions * To follow Company's safety rules and policies and display conduct expected of Company employees as described in the Safety and Health Management System * Empowered and responsible for eliminating unsafe acts and conditions: * Continually be on the lookout for any unsafe acts or conditions * If you are comfortable, immediately correct any unsafe acts or conditions * If you are not comfortable with correcting an unsafe act or condition, notify your supervisor immediately * Conduct formal safety and health inspection, at least once a month, and discuss results and action items with employees * If you are not comfortable with correcting an unsafe act or condition, coordinate the correction with the appropriate personnel or service and ensure resolution or correction * Expected to contribute to the continual improvement of the Safety and Health Management System: * Provide feedback to coworkers and supervisor during periodic shift/department meetings or as needed regarding any and all improvement ideas including improvement of procedures, material, resource availability, and training * Reinforcing a safe and healthy environment through activities such as modeling the appropriate safety and health behavior, including safety and health topics in periodic meetings, and providing feedback to employees regarding their individual responsibility for creating a safe and healthy environment * Perform other general duties as requested, directed, and assigned Specific Job Duties - Sales Representative * Maintain good customer relations * Research and develop new business opportunities * Obtain new project and production information from customers * Attend monthly business meeting * Attend daily Sales meeting * Issue monthly action and summary report to manager * Assist in producing annual Sales Plan * Calculate and make a proposal of part and mold quotations to manager for approval; then, issue the approved quotation to customer * Issue Feasibility Review for all new parts * Issue Mold Information Sheet for New, Modified and Transferring Tools * Assist manager in achieving monthly sales goals * Assist manager in achieving annual sales goals * Advise manager in solving customer complaints * Coordinate new project start ups among internal departments at Company * Collect and disburse information from customer to manager, Logistics and Production Control * Take any necessary action that will improve customer satisfaction * Make visitations to customers as needed * Produce running annual Sales Plan * Update the RFQ summary file at least every month * Track new tools/Replacement tools and coordinate as needed with Company Engineer/QA while updating customer * Perform other duties as requested, directed and assigned Working Hours / Style * Full-time position 8-5 * Required to perform tasks while standing, sitting, or walking for a minimum of 8 hours per day * Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds frequently, and up to 25 pounds occasionally * Frequent movement below knees and above shoulders * Sustained and repetitive motion required for extended periods * Requires good vision for close-up work * Travel will be required frequently Working Location * Atlanta, GA Salary / Benefits * $80K-$90K annually (DOE) * Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance * 401k * Paid Time-Off Holidays * Observes company-defined holidays * Paid time off according to company policy Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a related field, or minimum 3 years of relevant work experience * Preferred: B2B sales experience in the automotive industry * Strong computer proficiency (Windows platform) * Excellent oral, written, and sales presentation skills (Japanese is a big plus) * Strong organizational skills and ability to meet sales goals * Ability to identify and grow new business opportunities * Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) 6% Match * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Relocation assistance * Vision insurance Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Experience: * Automotive Industry B2B Sales: 3 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Marietta, GA 30062: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Required) Work Location: In person
