Job Description The Inside Sales Representative is an extremely motivated individual who strives to be the point person for customers. A great ISR is highly organized and detail-oriented. The ISR has a proven ability to multitask and thrive under pressure to meet customers' needs and deadlines. As the ISR, you will also be responsible for developing relationships with new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers while selling company products and services. Key Responsibilities * Maintain and grow sales for existing and prospective accounts who call into the branch, by determining their needs, providing creative solutions, delivering quotes and suggesting related products * Handle customer inquiries promptly and effectively * Build meaningful relationships, spending time with customers outside of the office as needed * Provides excellent customer service and consistent follow-up throughout the sales process * Phone sales and the ability to cold call for new business * Serves as location's product expert * Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed, and recommend new items for stock * Problem solve between warehouse personnel, outside sales, and the customer * Stay up-to-date on new products and industry trends * Uphold the company motto of "Service, Integrity, Reliability" Skills * Detail-oriented with the ability to provide consistent follow-up and follow-through * Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks * Exceptional listening skills and the ability to correctly interpret customers' needs and objectives * Ability to maintain a customer focus at all times with a strong commitment to customer service * Ability to quickly learn and retain information on a large variety of products * Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Qualifications * 3-5 years of sales or customer service experience and high school diploma, GED or military equivalent * Preferred, but not required: 3-5 years of experience in electrical distribution sales or another similar wholesale industry Requirements * Clear background check and drug test Benefits * Competitive pay * Relocation assistance * Participation in the location profit-sharing program * Health, dental, vision and life insurance benefits * 401(k) match * Cell phone reimbursement Consolidated Electrical Distributors (d/b/a All-Phase Electric) is a privately held electrical distributor headquartered in Irving, Texas, and is one of the five largest electrical distributors in the United States, with more than 700 locations.
